The True Story of the Three Little Pigs

PCPA Theaterfest
Children's Outreach Tour
Director:  Katie Mack
Costume Designer:  Samantha Armitage

Leather Masks:  Masks were used in this piece to identify various characters including the Big Bad Wolf and the Three Pigs.  The features for each mask were first sculpted with modeling clay onto plaster face castings.  The molds were then covered in aluminum foil and Veraform thermalplastic was heated and stretched over them to create a base for the masks.  Soft leather was manipulated and glued on top of the veraform to create the facial features.  Final paint details were then applied.
